Children The Ultimate Gift

God created this wonderful universe
He has arranged it so beautifully
For all to see and savour
The bounty of His handiwork.

Human is the ultimate creation
A bundle of mystery concealed
It unfolds as the day passes
To a full human being.

Children, you are the greatest wonder
That God has created on earth
With great care and thought
That each one must be unique.

He wished that every one should be
Unique and wonderful in his own way
Contributing to the beauty of this world
To make the world a heaven on earth.

All have the potential to become
A great human being
As God has destined all
To flower forth to fullness.

A tiny little being
Coming to this vast world
Without any knowledge
Of what one has to become.

You are a great joy to the parents
A wonderful gift to the family and friends
As you cry and smile
You are a joy to the onlookers.

Some say that you are like the mother
Others say that you are like the father
But to the wonder of all
You become totally a different person.

That is the mystery of the child
As you unfold into a full being
Your traits are different
And you become a unique person.

It is unfathomable
How intricately
God puts and knits a being
So wonderfully well.

Are we grateful to the creator
For being so generous with us
To infuse and instill in us
All that is so enriching and enhancing?

O, child of God
You are a wonderful being
Never feel low of yourself
You have great potential.

Trust in God and trust in your self
So as to become what you intend to be
A generous soul and wonderful person
To be appreciated and loved by all.

On this Children's Day
My prayer to God is this
That all of you, the children of God
Become true human and God loving being.

To love all other beings
As equal partners in this world
So as to enjoy the beauty of God's creation
And to give my best for its upkeep.

As God has given the potential
To discover the wonder of my being
To know and love and preserve
All that God has gifted to me.

Only when we care for the earth
The trees, birds and animals
So beautifully God has gifted
Then only we can say with pride,

O, Lord we thank you
For all that you have given to us
So that we can enjoy our life and say
That we have never destroyed any of them.

O, dear children of God
Have a nice and wonderful day
That God has given you
With so much love in his heart.

I pray and wish that
God continue to shower
His bountiful blessings on you
So as to become a true child of God.
